Fapturbo Update & News
Fapturbo has been updated. The metatrader platform has been updated to build 225 and the developers have updated fapturbo to fapturbo4. The update is essentially for people who have been experiencing crashes while running the ea.
Fapturbo Evolution
As you may have all seen on my site, fapturbo evolution was for sale, and it sold out amazingly, in less than 24 hours. I secured myself a copy and have it running on the dukascopy platform. I will be posting my results.
NFA Rules Aug 1
Many are already aware of the July no hedging rules that were set by the NFA. Essentially, it means you cannot place a long and short position on the same instrument, if you are using a forex broker in the United States. However, in August, the NFA will be enforcing a FIFO rule, that is a first in first out. How will this influence Fapturbo?
It probably won’t. Fapturbo doesn’t hedge, so the hedging rule doesn’t apply and it only has 1 trade per currency pair, so the FIFO rule doesn’t apply. Obviously, all of these changes apply only to US brokers so opening an account with another broker outside of the US won’t affect you.
Personally, I have been using a broker called Go Markets. This is an MT4 based forex broker based in Australia. I have had personal dealing and these guys are ok. For all live accounts, they have just implemented a new data feed using Currenex. Currenex provides a forex data feed for forex brokers, including banks and large trading institutions. They are a highly respected organisation and have received numerous awards and was included in the Best Online Foreign Exchange Trading System for Global Finance in the category of “Best Bank System” for Online Foreign Exchange Trading Systems for 2009. GoMarket’s fills are excellent and their spreads are very good.
